Big Chapman Lake Public Access
Big Chapman Lake is 504 acres and 39 feet deep. It is a fantastic fishing location, with bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, longear, northern pike. walleye, and yellow perch. Located outside Warsaw, Big Chapman is a peaceful lake for a day on the boat.
Botanas Locas
Try some crazy and very unique Mexican food and deserts at Botanas Locas in Warsaw. Their menu includes quesabirras, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, tacos, gorditas, and dorilocos. They also have unique ice cream and desert options.
Carr Lake
Carr Lake is 79 acres and 35 feet deep. This is a great fishing location, with bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, and yellow perch.
Center Lake Beach
Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department operates Center Lake Beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Amenities include beach, lake access, picnic tables, restrooms, and vending machines. Please note: No lifeguards are present. This beach is swim at your own risk.
Center Lake Public Access
Center Lake is 120 acres and 43 feet deep. They offer a public beach for swimming, and also offering boating and fishing. This lake contains bluegill, catfish, largemouth bass, and yellow perch.

Dewart Lake is 554 acres and 82 feet deep. Water recreation activities include boating, fishing, and skiing. Fish in this lake include black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, redear, and yellow perch.

The Grassy Creek Public Access Point offers access to the Barbee Chain of Lakes, Tippecanoe Lake, James Lake, and Oswego Lake. These lakes offer boating, fishing, and skiing.
Heritage Trail
The Heritage Trail is Winona Lake’s portion of the Lake City Greenway. It features artwork that interprets attributes of the heritage of Winona Lake. These attributes include: Kindness, Virtue, Generosity, Community, Gathering, Beauty, Respect, Legacy, Peace and Love. A stone commemorative bench is included in the vicinity of the artwork.

Hoy’s Beach is a small park located on the Henry St. right-of-way to Syracuse Lake. This park has many trees and plants located in decorative planting beds. Hoy’s Beach provides a swim at your own risk beach, picnic tables, and benches. It is used by many area neighborhood residents as an access point to Syracuse Lake.

Kuhn Lake is 137 acres and 28 feet deep. Water recreation opportunties it offers include boating and fishing. It contains bluegill, black crappie, catfish, largemouth bass, perch, and redear.

Old Chinworth Bridge
This historic iron bridge spanning the Tippecanoe River dates to 1897 but provides a peaceful getaway today. The Old Chinworth Bridge Trail, nearly two miles long, is perfect for hikers and bicyclists, who can learn some area history as they traverse the asphalt trail, which incorporates two historic bridges along the way. It’s all part of the Lake City Greenway, which includes a picnic area. If you bring along a canoe or kayak, you can launch here for an afternoon of paddling on the gentle Tippecanoe River. The Old Chinworth Bridge is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The property now belongs to the Kosciusko County Historical Society, but originally was built on the township line that separated Chief Mota’s reservation from Chief’s Checosee’s reservation. The bridge is located near the intersection of Old US 30 and CR 350 West, Warsaw.

Oppenheim Woods
Located in Leesburg, IN, Oppenheim Woods is owned and protected by the Nature Conservancy, whose mission is to protect our natural land and water. Established in 2010, this preserve contains rolling hills, lush forests, and gorgeous wildflowers. Wildflower varieties include trillium, celandine, poppy, and wood phlox. Additionally, songbirds of all kinds migrate through the area in April and May. This spectacular location is an ideal place to walk and bird watch.

Pisgah Marsh Area & Boardwalk
The Pisgah Marsh Area and Boardwalk is located approximately 9 miles north of Larwill, Indiana, west of State Road 5. this area was set aside to preserve habitat resources for a variety of plant and animal species. The 445 combined acres of Pisgah Areas 1, 2 and 3 is comprised of grassland, wetland, upland forest and lake habitat. Pisgah Area 1 has approximately 128 acres not including the 6.67-acre Pisgah Lake. The Durham Lake Area is comprised of 180 acres with a 13-acre lake.

Lake Syracuse is the smaller, calmer sister lake to Lake Wawasee. It is 411 acres wide and 34 feet deep. It has a public beach located at Lakeside Park in Syracuse. It also offers boating and fishing with largemouth bass, bluegills, redear, northern pike.

Lakeside Park is the anchor and largest park in the Syracuse Parks system. The park is lined with Saucer Magnolia trees that blossom in early spring providing beautiful views. Park Amenities include the Kenneth & Lela Harkless Gazebo, an open-air pavilion, playground, beach volleyball and a swimming beach on Syracuse Lake.

The Backwaters/Webster Lake
Webster Lake is 653 acres wide and 52 feet deep. Water recreation activities include boating, skiing, fishing, and swimming at the public beach loacted at the North Webster Town Park. The famous Dixie Sternwheeler, the oldest sternwheeler paddleboat, has been cruising Webster lake since 1929. Webster Lake also offers fishing for the elusive and coveted muskie, a fish which can grow up to 50 inches in length.

The Buck Island Trail is located close to the Between the Lake Preserve around Mud Lake. Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation Centre & Conklin Bay Boardwalk
The Conklin Bay Board walk extends the existing eleven miles of trail with a one third mile wetland board walk along with two thirds more miles of concert trail. The new section of trail opened officially in May of 2020 and runs through the Rolland Wetland Conservation Area. Plus, it includes four overlook sections for visitors to admire the view.

Situated near Wawasee Lake, Conklin Bay Wetlands, and the Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes and Wetlands Education Center, the Syracuse Lake Wetland Trails consist of three trails which wind through the area. On these trails, you can see beautiful wetlands, wooded areas, and lakeshore. These trails are owned by the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, whose mission is to protect the natural wetlands in the area. Wildwood Nature Preserve
This preserve has a small pond surrounded by forest, vernal pools scattered beneath the trees, a pine planting, numerous wetlands and a prairie. There are oak and hickory and many more species of trees as well as numerous species of wildflowers. Various birds can be seen at Wildwood, from wood ducks on the pond, to several species of woodpeckers in the woods, including red-headed and pileated. The variety of terrain provides habitats for a wide cross section of local wildlife. It is managed by Acres Land Trust and is open daily from dawn to dusk. Visit frequently – the preserve is constantly changing, and new discoveries are waiting! It covers 235.5 acres of land. The trail length is 4.5 miles, trail difficulty is 3 hikers out of 5 hikers.
